Simple and Delicious Protein Pasta Recipe
1 box Barilla Protein + Pasta
- I used Penne, but any kind you prefer will work well.
1 box Cherry Tomatoes
1 brick Fat Free Cream Cheese
1/2 cup 2% Milk
- I prefer ultra filtered milk as the protein count is higher and it is lactose free
Red Pepper Flake
Meat of choice (I cooked steaks, but chicken or fish would be great too) – generally I pick my meat based on my body comp goals at the time and on my calorie/macro needs at the time.
Boil water in a large pot adequate for the full box of pasta.
In a deep skillet pan on low add:
1/2 cup milk & 1 brick cream cheese cut into cubes
Add pasta to boiling water if you haven’t already.
Whisk melted milk and cheese until sauce is smooth.
- Add salt, pepper, red pepper flake, and paprika to taste.
Drain noodles, add to sauce and mix.
Garnish with Basil and Balsamic Glaze
